Thank you for an amazing year!.png

New Day provides quality theatre programs for children.

Through your continuous support, New Day has been able to affect countless lives. Last year alone New Day impacted over 5,000 individuals, including students from more than 20 schools, 24 zip codes, and 5 counties.

We were able to fulfill our mission of providing quality theatre programming to children ages 4-18 by offering numerous classes for all skill levels, 6 summer camps, and 3 mainstage productions, one of which was free to the public.

Our summer show has been a free event for the community since 2011, eliminating financial barriers to experiencing live theatre and allowing us to share the gift of live theatre with over 1100 audience members each summer.

In keeping with our goal of ensuring theatre arts are accessible to all children in the community regardless of skill, cognitive differences, or ability to pay, we awarded multiple scholarships to students in need and provided 10 showcase performances that were free to the public.

As the only theatre in the area dedicated to providing Sensory Friendly performances with each mainstage production, New Day offered 3 Sensory Friendly performances during the last year. These special performances are for individuals living with neurosensitivities and are free to attend.

Each year, New Day provides 200 books to preschool children in the community through our Bringing Literacy to Life program in partnership with the Voluntary Pre-K program in the Collierville Schools and Hope House in Memphis.

We could not do what we do without help from our local artists and community partners. It is our pleasure to be able to employ so many artists each year and to form new partnerships with several organizations in the community, the latest of which include the Women's Advocacy Center, Collierville Balloon Fest, Leadership Collierville, and Summer Learning Camp through the Collierville schools.

Voted Best Community Theatre by Memphis Most 2020, it is an honor and a privilege to be able to provide quality theatre arts programming and performance opportunities to the children in this community. We are creating tomorrow's leaders and artists through theatre. None of this would be possible without you. Your donations are changing lives.

Multiply your impact. Make it monthly!
